Kenwood SM606 - Sandwiches are now fun!
Review of Kenwood SM606 by runetune

Advantages: It does considerably more than your standard Sandwich Toaster!
Disadvantages: A shame the plates can't be removed to clean.

...a reasonable price. The Kenwood SM606 ticked all of these boxes. It has a stylish chrome finish body. The non-stick coated cooking plates are made for easy cleaning. It has an easily seen indicator light. A nice sized cool touch handle. It stands upright for compact and space saving storage. The grill plates are ribbed, and the hinges "float" to allow additional space between the plates that a fixed hinge system doesn't allow for. This means ...
...food (we often do vegetables) you might want to griddle in there if you wanted to. We've also done waffles very successfully on this. You have a variable heat setting, which again is very useful and gives you some nice control over how your food cooks/toasting. It stores nicely and looks good whether stored on a work surface or out to use. A number of friends and family have now bought one of these after seeing ours in operations. It does 2 sandwiches ... Toastie without the filling anyone?
Review of Breville TR47 by sarahjones87

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: where do i start? lol

...comet store and purchased a Breville TR47. My first impressions were this gadget will look quite fancy in my new kitchen. I have been going for a black and silver modern décor. It was quite small looking and definitely looked quite stylish, so I made my purchase and dashed home to try it. When I first got my toastie maker out of the box to say I was disappointed was to say the least, it had a ghastly white cord and a white plug. Common sense would ...
...I think the Breville TR47 was designed quite poorly there isn't actually a on or off switch it just simply plugs into the mains and automatically comes on. As so as you plug it on a red light will appear which means it is warming up to its pre-set manufacturers heat setting. This takes around three minutes to warm up until it is ready to use. It indicates this by the red light going off and the green light turning on. The plates on the inside are ... Read review

Breville knows best!
Review of Breville TR34 Quattro by nattinoo1970

Advantages: 4 rounds at 1 time
Disadvantages: Quite bulky so difficult to store

...spare cash and saw this Breville Quattro in a local store and bought it with no hesitation. Whilst it is on the bulky side and it can be quite difficult to store because of it's size it is extremely easy to use being a great "plug and play" item. The unit heats quickly, toasts quickly and cools again quickly. The bread stays where it is put while you close the lid down to start the cooking process, so you get even sandwiches, not mishapes which leak ...
...makes are like no other sandwich you will ever make. I don't know whether it is the design or shape of the plates but you get no limp, flat sandwiches here. Every sandwich is prefectly formed, deep and fluffy. Every sandwich seals perfectly - even if the slices of bread are not quite the same size due to them being end of loaf etc. Plus you get to make 4 rounds at a time so there are no disappointed faces waiting for the next 2 rounds to heat! I've ... Read review

Lean Mean Fat reducing Mini Machine!
Review of George Foreman 12654 GR15SBTMR by mints4merlin

Advantages: small, reduces grease in food, cooks tasty hot sandwiches :P
Disadvantages: bugger to clean

...anyone has seen the original George Foreman Grillig machines, you'll know how ridiously huge they are. This one is the mini version and is designed as a fancy sandwich toaster really. Although shorter in length, it's still just as high and as bulky in height. It's a rectangualr sort of shape which is angled downwards towards you at the front. There are lines which run from inside to the outside opening in order to let the oils and fats drain away ...
...this mini- sandwich maker by george foreman. Although not big enough to cook large pieces of meat, except the odd piece of bacon, and it's really not woth paying £45 for. I still recommend it, but i'm just smug because ours was FREE! But I suppose we don't have a guantee, and you never know what the previous owners may have cooked on it. Recomended if you are a health concious person, who doesn't like soggy greasy cheese and tomato toasties. Oh, ... Read review

George Foreman-lean grilling machine
Review of George Foreman GR10 by terrygilham

Advantages: Great for cooking
Disadvantages: relatively expensive

This is possibly the best grilling machine on the market and does everything that it offers to. The lean mean grilling machine is a really good design, because of the shape and the cut out space at the bottom it makes it easy to drain all the fat away whilst you are cooking. Not only that but it is non-stick and unlike some other non stick products it is not crumble away. It is very easy to clean, you literally just get a wet cloth and wipe other ... Read review
