George Foreman-lean grilling machine
Review of George Foreman GR10 by terrygilham

Advantages: Great for cooking
Disadvantages: relatively expensive

This is possibly the best grilling machine on the market and does everything that it offers to. The lean mean grilling machine is a really good design, because of the shape and the cut out space at the bottom it makes it easy to drain all the fat away whilst you are cooking. Not only that but it is non-stick and unlike some other non stick products it is not crumble away. It is very easy to clean, you literally just get a wet cloth and wipe other ... Read review

George Foreman 13184 Anniversary Grill
Review of George Foreman 13184 Anniversary by KRSD

Advantages: Caters for larger numbers, easy to cook with and clean
Disadvantages: Need some space to store it

...great thing as for all George Foreman Grills is when you have prepared the meat, its simply a case of switch it on, wait until its ready to cook then go. Cleaning is also really easy. Just use the supplied scrapers to get rid of any congealed fat and then wipe down with a warm cloth. If you are cooking burgers for instance the drip trays, two supplied, easily catch the fat and for a real treat you have your own supply of Lard just waiting to be done ... Read review

George Formby is NOT grilling my sausages!!!
Review of George Foreman 12617 by pennywa

Advantages: Cooks perfectly, very good price, easy to clean
Disadvantages: None at all

...appliance recently - it's a George Foreman Grilling Machine (Model 12617) and it is the best thing ever!! We sort of bought it 'by accident'. Mum, dad and me went into town about a week ago. We were looking around some DIY shops as mum wants to have our kitchen painted a different colour and she'd like some new kitchen units. We can't afford it and dad was trying to persuade her to just change the cupboard doors. He said it would 'transform' the ...
...around B&Q mum spotted some George Foreman Grills. I must admit, I was a bit confused, as I'd always thought that George Foreman was the guy from the black and white movies who played the banjo and sang in that strange voice. Dad explained though that I was thinking of George Formby! The shop claimed they were on 'special offer', but at £79 a shot, dad said "no way" was he paying that kind of money when we already had a perfectly good grill in the ... Read review

Tesco Health Grill, Model HG36
Review of Tesco HG36 Health Grill by sallyspud

Advantages: Cheap, efficient, cooks through thoroughly. virtually perfect!
Disadvantages: Small power lead, no variable heat setting.

...moment & came accross the Tesco Health Grill, by accident. Im having a new kitchen fitted on 7th April & have had to have the kitchen stripped of everything including my cooker, as I needed other work doing, including all the walls & ceilings plastered. Im not a ready meal person. I have to watch my salt intake very carefully & I like what I like. So the thought of microwave meals filled me with dread. I was flicking through Tesco online, trying ...

Brilliant piece of kit at a brilliant price
Review of Tesco HG36 Health Grill by TomGreen

Advantages: Cheap, quick, healthy, as good as more expensive brands
Disadvantages: No heat control or floating hinges

For £9.97 this was a bargain just as good if not better than the George Foreman makes which are several times the price. Every home should have one. I think the usual retail price is around £15, but even at that it's a bargain. The grill functions in the same way that other 'health grills' do. You turn it on and allow it to heat up, it will then apply heat to your food from both sides, cooking food twice as quickly as a conventional grill. All ...
...It includes two fat drip trays and two spatulas. I wouldn't allow any fat or food pieces to remain on the grill for long after it cools down or they may be difficult to remove later. I have used it to cook sausages in a much shorter time than using a conventional grill. I would say it's about the same speed as frying, but not as healthy, obviously! When I first used the grill it smelled of chemicals when it was heating up, but this is quite normal ... Read review
