Hinari, it's dinner time!!!
Advantages: Looks stylish, produces yummy treats Disadvantages: Hot
...but then we saw the Hinari SP275, not like the old sandwich toasters, it was just to hot plates?! I ummed and ahhed for a few minutes as it was more expensive, but then it looked great and for £19.97 I couldn’t really argue besides which it was already in the trolley. So, we brought the toaster home, unpacked it and found it a place on the kitchen worktop. To be honest after this I forgot about it for a few days but when I came home one day and my ... ...interesting discoveries and creations. The Hinari SP275 can be used to warm sausage rolls, he has also made a number of delicious panninis using the half cooked baguettes you can buy from Tesco. He has also toasted single pieces of bread in order to make croutons for a salad. I am sure there are also a number of far more adventurous creations that could be made with the help of this sandwich toaster.
The SP275 is larger than the old style sandwich ...

The Hinari Lifestyle SW293 Sandwich Maker
Advantages: Very Easy To Use And Clean Disadvantages: No Seperate On/Off Switch
I received my Hinari Lifestyle SW293 Sandwich Maker as a Christmas Gift but decided to wait a couple of months before reviewing it until I had familiarised with myself it.
The particular version that I received was White in colour, although they are available in a wide range of different colours including Red, Green, Yellow and Black. Since it was a Gift I did not know how much these things would normally cost but I had a quick look Online for completeness ... ...sale at Tesco for £9.99, which is considerably cheaper than I imagined.
Anyway on with the review.....
APPEARANCE
The Sandwich Maker itself is quite modern looking yet rather simple in design. It is roughly rectangular in shape with its longest sides curved outwards, and at the front there is a handle which is preformed into the shape of the plastic design.
On the top of the appliance there is a Red/Green indicator light but other than this and ...

The ultimate toastie!
Advantages: Simple to use and makes a great toastie! Disadvantages: Sometimes gets a bit messy
...toastie. Then i discovered the HINARI LIFESTLE toastie machine, it was given to me from my grandmother as a present one christmas, and when i first saw it i though..."what a bloody pointless thing to give me when i have perfectly good taoster that does the same thing at home". Oh how wrong i was. I had for a few weeks before actually using it then i decided one day to give it a try, and i was pleasantly suprised, it was a lot easier than using a ... ...toastie machine in a socket and a red light should go on, you then have to wait a minute until it turns green and that means you can put the untoasted toastie in! whilst waiting get two slices of bread and butter one side one each slice. then turn one slice of bread butter side down and place your toppings on it. Say your just having a cheese toastie than place a good amount of cheese on the slice bread, buy now the light on the toastie machine should ...

Toasted Treat
Advantages: easy to use and store Disadvantages: can be fiddly to clean, can be messy depending on filling
I've always enjoyed a nice toasted sandwich most often eaten in a cafe as i've never owned a sandwich toaster so when i spotted one at my local co-op for £12.99 i thought i'd treat myself.
This particular one is a double sandwich toaster but you can just make one sandwich if that's all you want. It's silver in colour with a white cord, a locking catch, a red light that indicates the power is on and a green light that indicates when the sandwich ... ...green light come on, the green light then goes off once the toaster has warmed up. Open the toaster and place buttered bread face down followed by the filling and another piece of buttered bread face up then close and lock. The green light reappears while the sandwich cooks now this is where it can become messy - i tend to opt for chesses and tomato as my filling and 9 times out of 10 the chesse will come running out the sides of the toaster, this ...

I AM A COOKING GOD
Advantages: Simple to use, quick snack provider Disadvantages: Messy if overfilled, hot cooking plates
WOOLWORTHS SANDWICH MAKER
Approximately one year ago, in the last few days of the Woolworths stores being a common sight on our high streets, I bought a Woolworths Sandwich Maker for a price of £4.99, and until recently, it had remained unused in a kitchen cupboard.
Two weeks ago, whilst looking for something else, I came across the sandwich maker still in its box in the cupboard, and decided to start using it.
To this day, I regret not ... ...I have used it on a daily basis, and is a wonderful idea for quick hot snacks, and the children love dads quick cooking too – that in itself is a miracle as when I had suggested cooking or making a snack they would make a face. Not any more though.
CONTROLS AND FEATURES
The unit itself measures approximately 25 cm by 25 cm and is approximately 9 cm tall, and stands on 4 little legs.
The controls could not be simpler (which is good as far ...
