With most people in the house preferring a shower to a bath, i have to keep a good supply of shower gel constantly available. I don’t like to always get the highly perfumed stuff because this gets me no thanks from the male contingency in the house, so products such as this are handy.

WHAT IS IT?

This shower gel has been formulated for normal skin, and with dermo essential ingredients, it will reinforce the skin’s natural defences to offer 3 benefits to keep skin healthy:
• Improves skin’s natural protection barrier
• Moisturises skin
• Restores skin’s natural balance

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...

This shower gel comes ina 500ml plastic bottle withall the information on the back. The bottle itself is quite plain being white with a blue cap and writing, whcih kind of gives the impression of it being gentle and mild.

To get to the shower gel, I flip open the lid and give the bottle a bit of a squeeze. The gel itself is white and quite thick, and whilst I can’t put my finger on the smell, it doesn’t smell at all floral, more clean and kind of pine than anything, but I’m probably completely wrong on that!!

It does lather up easily so not very much of the stuff is needed, making it great value and long lasting.

PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The shower gel is widely available and costs around £2 for 500ml so if you use a loy of shower gel this represents great value.

VERDICT...

This shower gel serves us well as an everyday good value product. It lathers up easily and after cleaning with it, skin smells clean and fresh. The only problem I find if I use it too often is that it can be quite drying, so plenty of moisturiser is needed afterwards. However, others in the family who use it don’t appear to have this problem so it’s clearly my ageing skin. It is my shower gel of choice when we go on holiday because one bottle does us for a week, meaning lighter cases and it manages to clean off all the lotions and potions- no drying of the skin on holiday though because of the creams I use.

It’s not a “special” shower gel and won’t make you feel pampered but it does what it says it will without a high price tag
