Assembly is straight forward simply clip the lid on the base and secure it using the side clips on the bin. You then pull a small amount of the film out of the cassette and insert the blue plastic ring inside the film (don't trap the film) tie a knot in the film. Place cassette into the bin and push into place then push
film through the center of the cassette The instructions sound complicated but with the picture shows quite well )
********** Using the napper wrapper **************
Simply open the lid push folded nappy through the opening till you feel it being held with the grippers . Turn the ring two full turns clockwise to seal the nappy in the film. you repeat this process for each nappy placed in bin The bin holds up to 28 nappies before needing emptying not sure if thats exact mine needed emptied after 4 or 5 days
************** Emptying ****************
When your bin is full close the lid and press the cutter release button (picture of scissors on it ) turn the cutter twice to cut the film open the lid and tie a knot in the film now you can take top of by unclasping the sides and placing in bin ( they look like a roll of links
******* Replacing the cassette *******
*** REMOVE THE PLASTIC RING FROM THE CASSETTE *** And You then pull a small amount of the film out of the cassette and insert the blue plastic ring inside the film (don't trap the film) tie a knot in the film. Place cassette into the bin and push into place then push film through the center of the cassette( these steps are the same as in assembly
*********** MY OPINION *************
As I said at the start of this review this sounded like a must have item for mums I have since changed my mind. I though when I bought this it was a case of drop the nappy in the bin and empty when full. Boy I was sure wrong .
1. The smell ....... This claims to be more hygienic and reduce smells . The smell is disgusting ( i though the whole point of the nappy wrapper was to reduce smells....
2. The cutter doesn't always cut the film properly and lets face it as busy moms we don't always have time to go rooting for scissors to cut the film god sometimes its hard to find the time just to empty the bloomin thing.
3.Placing the nappies after a few turns sometimes the twists don't hold and you end up sticking your hand right into the last nappy (It had to happen when it was a dirty nappy and i had missed one of the wipes and just through it on top of the nappy before turning the ring argggg)
4.The film running out unexpectedly it always seems to do it when you in a hurry ( I feel it should have a colour change when nearing the end)
5. The cost of the cassettes for wrapping up to 180 nappies ( no way was it as many as this id say about 120 sorry cannot give an exact count but I wont go as sad to start counting dirty nappies even for ciao!!!!)
would I recommend this ....No In short the bin smells it doesn't always wrap nappies correctly how hygenic can this be sticking your hand in ****** nappies , it gives you no warning of film coming to a end , the cutter doesn't always work and its cheaper buying nappy sacks.....
The information leaflet care instructions for the wrapper "To keep your nappy wrapper smelling fresh , We recommend regular spraying with Febreze." ( just another cost and inconvenience ) I have reverted back to nappy sacks there is less smell from them and less inconvenience .
sorry if its more like a rant than review thanx for reading x

I remember my sister looking at these when she was pregnant but never got around to buying it. Lucky she didn't.

I saw these things around a couple of years ago when my mum was expecting my little bro & she nearly bought one but wasn't convinced it would hide the smell enough from our 2 dogs who love anything smelly! Lou.x
