...a copied DVD and a video cd. Unless you don't know what a 'video cd' is than I shall give a quick discription- a 'video cd' is like a standard cd, which a film is copied onto although as a standard writable cd is only around 650mb, which is a small amount of space for a film to fit on to, then the film has to be spilt and put on 2 or more cd's. By doing this I feel cause's the enjoyment of a film to be distrupted. Initially I thought this seemed cluttered, but on balance all the buttons are sensibly positioned. The buttons are a little fiddly if you’ve big fingers but that’s a common problem most electronic manufacturers have overlooked these days. This TV has ‘plug and play’ capability. This means the first time you switch on the television it automatically tunes and stores the channels received through your aerial without any user intervention. ...I was looking for my first widescreen television and, after a very poor experience with a Toshiba from Comet which eventually went back for a full refund, I settled on this television from Powerhouse. I am no expert and I had not got a lot of money to spend. My criteria were that it had to be 28" (because I did not fancy peering at a screen that was less tall than my old standard shape television) it had to be stereo, it had to be affordable (i.e., around £300) and, ideally, it had to sound good. The Sanyo came at the right price (though a stand was an extra £40) and, to my mind at least, looks very smart. It is not a flat screen, but it looks like one and only close up examination reveals that it is not.
