Advantages: Huge. Soothing. Good value. Disadvantages: Takes forever to heat up.
...A lava lamp is, in principle, very simple. It consists of a lamp, which heats up a glass bulb filled with a waxy solid and a liquid. These cannot mix together and must have very similar densities. As the solid heats up, its density is lowered, so it rises. This cools it down and it then falls to the bottom of the lamp, creating a strangely soothing effect. In practice, making one yourself would involve messing about with expensive and perhaps flammable chemicals, so I wouldn't bother trying. It is much easier just to buy one yourself.
The Giant Grande Lava Lamp comes in two colours yellow and blue or yellow and violet. It is truly enormous at 27" and is guaranteed to be a focal point in your room. It is not called "giant" and "grande" for nothing!

...AN easy to use projector giving a crystal clear picture. when using the projector it is best to mount the projector. For example, a ceiling bracket is best, and then have it project onto either a screen, board or a wall, preferably all should be white surfaces.
When using, the controls are simple, as is the installation, and the insturctions on how to begin and set up are easy to use. novice friendly. It has a short 'warm-up' time and then begins projecting, quickly and easily. When projecting, the colopur sensitivity is good, and the picture never appears to pixilate. So giving the clear and sensetive picture mentioned.
There are no obvious disadvantages with this projector, everything has been simple and effective and to a high standard.
All this is based on my own experiences....

Advantages: Very Robust, Well Constructed, Will Last A Lifetime! Disadvantages: No lamp counter
...the first number, the higher the number, the newer the model. The last to be produced following this was the PLC-SU86, there are several projectors that don't follow this pattern, but as this review concerns second hand projectors, we'll leave it at this. I'd like to point out at this point that if you have a PLC-SU60 model that you aren't using, then this is one of the best projectorsSanyo ever made and is very rarely seen in the second hand market. If you have one, then they fetch a small fortune comparative to other projectors. Even new they are very hard to find.
The projector has an estimated bulb life of 2,000 hours which is good. Many projectors of this age only had a life of 1000 hours which is half this. However the downside to this projector is that there is no lamp counter in the menu, so you can't keep track of the useage. This is...
