We have a few of these projectors at our company and I have to say they are one of the easiest digital projectors we have, has we have a selection of philips, epsons and mitsubishi projectors as well.
The main advantages with this projector is the quality and brightness of the image you get. It is clear at the front of the room and just as clear at the back of the room. The zoom and focus controls are easy to use by anyone without knowledge of digital projectors, which is located at the front.
The menu features are set out in an easy and neat way for anyone to operate, with simple arrow buttons to move around the menus and selection is with the enter key located in the centre of them. There are security options, brightness and zoom features, location options (which basically means that if you fix the projector to the ceiling you can flip or rotate the picture to be the right way up, even if the image would normally be upside down). There are plenty of sockets and connectors. You can connect the standard data cable (or VGA - Visual Graphics Array) to your laptop from the projector. You get audio and video sockets, which can be used to connect your VCR, DVD, etc upto it to have your own home cinema. The audio quality is fantastic and because it is either at the front or above your head you get a strong quality from the projector.
I have to say that Sanyo projector is quiet, well quieter than most projectors. You still get the fan noise, but isn't to bad.Overall I would recommend this projector not so much on cost, but the features and useability.
