SanyoPLC-SU20
The SanyoPLC-SU20 multimedia projector is one of the best projectors in the world. Immediately, you are now going to be wondering why?!?!?! It's bulky, it's not very aesthetically appealing and it's hardly the best spec. in the world. But this is such a reliable projector!
I have owned several of these projector and not one has let me down. They just seem to go and go without fault. The projector's are very robustly made as it has been designed for portability.
The projector has a very handy fold out handle. This is very strong so you have no worries about it breakig after continuous use, When it's not in use, the handle folds away and sits flush with the side of the projector and is hardly noticeable.
This is one of Sanyo's earliest portable projectors. You can understand Sanyo's ranges quite easily. Every ...

Advantages: Cheap, lightweight Disadvantages: Unusual power lead, manual focus
This projector is one of the cheapest projectors to offer SXGA and XGA (emulated) output. It's lightweight and thus portable, and many offers for it come with a free spare bulb, which normally retail for over £200 alone.
The projector comes complete with 2 remote controls - one of which is used to control presentations eg powerpoint. The 2nd remote controls power on etc.
One of the only downsides to this projector is the projector is manual focus - so if it's mounted on the ceiling it means standing on a chair to refocus it if needed.
Overall I'd say it was certainly value for money - I've bought 10 of these units and have yet to have one either fail or even need a new bulb. They power up in under a minute and when turned off, the fan cools the bulb in under 5 mins, and you can pack up the projector (if used as a portable) in ...

Manufacturer's product description
Introducing the PLC-XW200 - that offers educators outstanding cost performance with an eco stand-by power mode that uses a mere 0.4 watts and the exclusive "Easy Setup Function". The projector is extremely easy to operate and offer advanced features such as wired LAN management - making them perfect for educators.Using a mere 0.4 watts, the PLC-XW200 is Sanyo's most ecological data projector. The eco power stand-by mode saves about 80% of the energy that is consumed by similar previous Sanyo projectors. By redesigning the electrical circuits, the projector is able to comply with the EuP-Directive Lot 6 and the EU RoHS Directive. The projector incorporates Sanyo's "Easy Setup Function", which includes Auto Input Signal Search, Auto Vertical Keystone Correction, and an Input Guidance Function. The Auto Input Signal Search automatically detects the input signal and makes the necessary internal settings. The Auto Vertical Keystone Correction function automatically detects its position angle and corrects for any image distortion. And finally, the Guidance Function displays on-screen connection instructions when there is no input signal detected, enabling easy setup for expert users and novices alike.Using the supplied wired LAN terminal (RJ-45), the PLC-XW200 can be controlled and managed via network connection. The LAN connection offers settings for power on/off, switching input signals, projecting from a remote location, as well as for monitoring lamp conditions and usage time. An automatic maintenance notification function sends notices to preset email addresses in the event of projector problems, resulting in faster maintenance response time.
