The assembly instructions were clear and all the pipe work splipped together easily. Three extra attachments are included which are an upholtery attachment, a short thin adapter and a small round brush for getting to those hard to reach places! The solid pipework is split into the head, 1st extension, 2nd extension, then the handle and are ... ...will snap at any minute!
There is a power switch and the cord retract button on the rear of the vacum, as well as the compartment to store the attachments.
The cleaner picks up very well and it only struggles with thick dog hair. To empty the dust holder, simply flick a switch on th vacum and pull out the holder. Does any one use bags these days?

My wife and I were brought this as a present from her parents one year. We had never heard of a sanyo vacum cleaner before, but not wanting to sound ungratful we gave it a go! The assembly instructions were clear and all the pipe work splipped together easily. Three extra attachments are included which are an upholtery attachment, a short thin adapter and a small round brush for getting to those hard to reach places! The solid pipework is split into the head, 1st extension, 2nd extension, then the handle and are well made, unlike some others which feel as though they will snap at any minute! Now the bad bits; The filter and dust holder needs to be cleaned before every use or suction is lost. The power cord is not very long. The shape of the hoover lends itself to getting wedged when you pull it along.
For the money though it is a very good vacum and both the wife and I reccomend it (and yes I do use it as well!)
Advantages: Quiet, powerful, long hose and cord. Disadvantages: None!
You may think of me as a little sad but I LOVE vacuuming. I love it so much that I'm on hoover #3 in 2 years. I don't brake them, just like to have a change and they all go to good homes. It may seem like an expensive hobby but at least it's a healthy one.
I owned a Goblin-Aztec 1405, it served me well for 8 months or so but it was time for something new. Out came the brochures and off down the retail park I went.
I had my heart set on the SanyoSCX1500 - a bagless cyclonic cylinder, unfortunately it was out-of-stock everywhere I went. I had a browse around the various models on display and that's when the cheeky little smile of 'Henry' caught my eye.
I'd never considered a Numatic Henry before, for the price (I paid £94 @ Comet) he seemed a little basic. There are no flashing lights to tell you the bag needs changing ...
