The camera itself is 3.2 mega pixels which in this day and age is not digital camera ... ...but in terms of quality it does produce visible pictures with a fair amount of details but this isn’t a camera if you are looking to take photography semi seriously, it’s more something you would use for a quick snap. At the time like anything it would have been great when it first come out but technology is ever changing and improving.

When you hold this camera, for me at least, I feel kind of odd and out of place. I would think Sanyo tried taking a brave step but for me and a few others I have talked to, it hasn’t worked.
The camera itself is 3.2 mega pixels which in this day and age is not digital camera quality anymore, they have better cameras on mobile phones now, but in terms of quality it does produce visible pictures with a fair amount of details but this isn’t a camera if you are looking to take photography semi seriously, it’s more something you would use for a quick snap. At the time like anything it would have been great when it first come out but technology is ever changing and improving. You can increase the picture quality and resolution by changing the settings on the camera but this is going to double the outcome or make a real difference.
Besides being a digital camera, it also acts as a video catching device. It’s not the greatest quality as it is only a camera video but is a good feature to have incase you want to capture something and you don’t have a digital camcorder. It doesn’t produce anywhere near the quality of a camcorder, but what digital camera does.
When purchasing the camera it comes with a 128 MB SD card which can hold around a couple hundred photos on standard quality and resolution, obviously this is less if you capture video as well. A 128 will hold around 15 minutes or so of video. If 128 MB is not enough you can take it out and insert a larger capacity SD card.
The camera comes with a docking bay and relevant cables to charge and upload the photos. It also comes with a remote but this can only be used when the camera is in the docking bay, which is slightly odd. It also comes with a small adaptor so that you don’t need to use the docking bay.
Picture format is JPEG and video format is MPEG4.
Extremely easy to use. One button to take a picture and one button to capture video.
Small LCD screen, but fine to take and view pictures and video.
The price is roughly the same as a normal shaped digital camera in it’s class, so if you like the design then it’s the camera for you.
