The camera is very well built, feels nice to hold and its tough (I`ve dropped mine many times and its always been fine), although it mainly made of plastic. The controls are great and allows for very easy one handed use. The camera does not shoot in full broadcast quality 1080 HD but in 780 HD which for normal home movies ... ...film capture is superb and you will not be disappointed. The best thing about this camera is its small and light enough to keep in your pocket and pull out at short notice to capture the moment. The sound recording is super, I use mine to take to festivals and gigs and the sound is always very crisp even when I have used it in very very loud nightclubs. The film capture is superb and you will not be disappointed. The best thing about this camera is its small and light enough to keep in your pocket and pull out at short notice to capture the moment. The sound recording is super, I use mine to take to festivals and gigs and the sound is always very crisp even when I have used it in very very loud nightclubs. The downside to this camera is that it does not work without a memory card, it would have been nice to have a small amount of built in memory for the odd occasion that I have forgotten the memory card. Also the picture quality of stills is truely terrible, very pixilated and often blurry, its tottaly useless in low light. One thing that could be improved on is that the camera does not continue recording when the screen is closed, if you could turn off the screen or record with the screen shut then battery life would be improved. In conclusion, this camera should be purchased as a video camera only, by people who want to have their camera in their pocket to capture the moment at a seconds notice.

I brought this Camcorder recently and i was very impress with it because it's very light, fits right in the hand of your palm and gives you great pictures.Other the other hand when you are recording it shakes a bit which isn't an ideal camcorder.The main thing is that this camcorder recorders onto a SD card which will save you a lot of money because you can record films and take pictures and then transfer it onto a CD and delete it off the SD card ... ...of buying tapes.
Unfortunately this camera doesn't broadcast HD but if you have a 720p screen the video images look good as a HD picture.The pictures are quite clear as well and 10 mega pixel for still image and 7.38 mega pixel for recording, it has a brilliant optical zoom of 5x. ...

I purchased this camera to capture HD family moments and am very pleased with the quality and ease of use of this camcorder.
First of all, you can start capturing precious moments the moment you take this device out of the box. Its ease and comfort of use are great. It's literally point and shoot, and whats even more cool is the fact that you can take great still photos while you are capturing video (when in HD mode you will notice that the video ... ...In reg def, this does not happen.)
The software that comes with the package is also very easy to install and quite easy to get used to. After only half and hour I was well on my way to editing and storing video clips onto my laptop which were ready to be emailed out to family members. ...
