On yet another trip to the library for some books for Harry, I couldn't resist another look at the DVDs shelf which is very conveniently located by the checkout counter, so you can't help but look as you're waiting in line! There were lots of films there but this one grabbed my attention as I remembered I'd seen an advert for it on another DVD I'd watched a while ago. I knew it had looked good then, so I decided to take a chance on this little film, and the result was a very pleasant and surprising watch indeed!
This film is actually a remake of a Korean film from 2001 entitled "Yeopgijeogin geunyeo" which is My Sassy Girl when translated. It tells the tale of 2 strangers who form a close bond in a short period of time. Advantages: simple fun bright Disadvantages: none!
I bought these for my daughter now that she's started teething and they have fast become her favourite toy despite being very simple and cheap compred to many of the other toys she has!

Advantages: Entertaining concept, so bad it's good Disadvantages: It wasn't meant to be funny!
Teeth was a film that I had never been too bothered to see, as I thought it would just be a terrible, cheesy horror film, that was neither scary nor entertaining in any way. So, when she rented the DVD for us and our flatmates to watch last night, I sat down to watch it expecting a hilarious attempt at a scary movie. I was not disappointed.
The basic storyline of Teeth is that, for some reason, a 'normal' abstinent teenager from the United States was born with teeth embedded into her vagina. Yes, really. Dawn O'Keefe is a fairly average high school student, other than the fact that she preaches ...
