Disadvantages: takes a while to cook

...1 x Sachet Of Coleman's Beef Casserole 500g of Braising Steak (approx £2.50) 1 x Large White Onion 3 x Cloves Garlic 3 x Carrots 2 x Sticks Of Celery 12 x Button Mushrooms 1 x Potato (peeled) 1 x Sweet Potato (peeled) 1 x Tin Of Chopped Tomatoes 1 x Large Glass Red Wine (Cheap House Wine) Salt & Pepper Casserole Dish or Slow Cooker If you have a slow cooker set this to 'Low' now. If you have a convential oven set it to it's lowest setting. ...
...to casserole with contents of Coleman's sachet to casserole dish/slow cooker & stir. 7) Season with salt & pepper Now the juices from the meat, chopped toms & wine is almost enough for this dish - My rule of thumb is to cover all the ingredients in 3/4 liquid so top up with boiling water if neccessary. (Once the veg cooks it will break down & create it's own juices) NOTE: Make sure all your ingredients are hot before adding to the dish. Of course ... Read review

Hot stuff!
Review of Nandos Peri Peri sauce by amyloop

Advantages: Yummy
Disadvantages: Price, no value for money

Chicken is like, my favourite food, and so naturally I could eat Nando's for breakfast lunch and dinner. For those of you who do not know what Nando's id, it's a Portuguese style restaurant which sells chicken and chips (sounds boring I know) and you can order your chicken in different levels - Plain, Lemon and Herb, mild, medium, Hot, very hot. Anyone who has Nando's will tell you that the Medium is HOT HOT HOT, and therefore only if you love having ...
...get medium, and in the restaurant they also have a shelf of big sauces, in the same sort of flavours (very hot, hot etc) all peri peri style. As well as getting a Medium Peri peri half a chicken I also get very hot sauce to go with my chips, because although it burns my face off, it's so addictive!!! Anyway, back to the point (im starting to get hungry) Nando's offer their special peri peri sauces in small jars and offer them for sale to their customers. ... Read review

20 minute "marinade" - A taste bud infusion.
Review of Knorr Recipe Kits by marmiladey

Advantages: full flavoured, easy to use. Value for money.
Disadvantages: none.

...stocked shop will carry Knorr products , therefore it shouldn't be too hard to find. I am no magician in the Kitchen , "Deliah" and "Jamie" don't have to feel threatened. I do however, like to experiment, there have, of course, been kitchen disasters. In the main everything I cook is edible.! Like most people I am able to cook at a basic level. There is no great skill required in using this product. It is suitable for grilling, frying, barbecues, ...
...powder over the prefered meat it infuses its flavour and colour . If you have tasted Chinese pork , with the pink/red colouring from the Chinese Takeaway that is the flavour that the meat acquires around its own natural flavouring. I chose to use this product the first time with diced chicken breast . The flavour is wonderful. I stir fried a variety of colourful vegetables , until crispy, added egg noodle, and then tossed in the previously "seared" ... Read review

Advantages: Great alternative to salt
Disadvantages: None

...at the heart of the Knorr brand - and it's the reason why Knorr is Unilever's no. 1 food brand. Recognised and appreciated around the world, the Knorr brand offers a wide range of soups, stock cubes and sauces in the UK today'. I don't like salt! In fact I really can't stand it. There is something about its strong nasty flavour that I just cannot abide. However, I do want my day to day food to have some flavouring. I do not add household salt to ...

Anyone ever unwrapped these easily????
Review of OXO Lamb Stock cubes by neiltommo123

Advantages: Great product offering taste to allsorts
Disadvantages: FOIL WRAP!!!!!!!!!!!

...in the kitchen unwrapping an Oxo cube and instead of concentrating on the dish I was cookin, thought. Ah, thats a review!!!!!!!!!!!! Oxo, in my opinion is just great, fantastic product. Mega taste and useful for just about anything. The makers have been very proactive in offering cooking guidelines and recipes alike in the promotion of their product. If you cant produce or think of anything to use an Oxo with I would hang up ya Oven gloves. From ...
...ever? Mangaged to open an oxo cube in one go? lol When trying to open them, the mega thin foil wrap always causes me a problem. I stumble and fumble trying to unwrap it. It so easily just falls to bits then you have got to concentrate not to drop the tiny little bits of foil wrap in your food, whilst still trying to get all of the cube in there without dropiog it all over the place. Is it just me or is this an Oxo problem? I cant help but laugh ... Read review
