Not homemade but I like it!

...lid. It has the aah! Bisto logo on the front and is very recognisable on the shelf. In Asda it costs 98p for a 170g pot and £1.78 for a 360g pot. Evn though you can't beat the taste of real homemade gravy Bisto is quite tasty. It's a dark brown colour, darker than the gravy I make, but it tastes pretty good. You can make it as thick or as thin as you like just by adding less or more water. I never used to buy gravy granules as we only had gravy with ...

It has the consistency of wallpaper paste! (Hellmanns Mayonnaise)

Advantages: Top sandwich filler.
Disadvantages: Not all that good for you in large servings.

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise (full fat) has to be the top assistant sandwich filler. Having just tucked into an immense homemade tuna mayo baguette I feel mayonnaise deserves a shout out for making my baguette so moist and full of loveliness. I bought a 400g jar of Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise today from my local shop for around £1.50. The jar is glass and has a blue screw top lid. Wrapped around the belly of the jar is a yellow label with predominately ...
...label boasts that the mayonnaise is a good natural source of omega-3 and that it is made from free range eggs, sounding tasty already! The back of the label consists of the ingredients list ( vegetable oil, water, pasteurised egg and egg yolk, spirit vinegar, salt, sugar, lemon juice, mustard flavouring, antioxidant (calcium disodium EDTA), paprika extract) which looking at it is actually full of items I recognise for a change, a detailed and summarised ...

Advantages: Tasty and versatile, it can be added to a wide range of meals to give it a kick!
Disadvantages: I wish they sold the bottle sizes that they have in the restaurants!

But it really does go very well with chicken and brings some of the flavours of Nandos home. We both love it. ...
