Heinz ketchup goes well with just about any food and tastes utterly delicious. As some of the less enlightened amongst us may think; tomato ketchup isn’t just a sometomatoes chucked into a blender and bottled. Oh no! It is a careful blend of spices, vinegar and vitamins that gives Heinz tomato ketchup its unique and gorgeous taste.
The green ketchup isnt around so much any more and it was a bit of a crazy fad. I thought ... ...squeeze. With it not being around much anymore the green ketchup is cheap to pick up if you havent tried it yet. Hopefully we will see the return of it in the future, but until then I will quite happily use normal heinz ketchup.

...that the product is called Heinz Piccalilli. You will either love it or hate it, depending on your palette. I was looking around for something different at Christmas as we all seem to go for very sweet things and I do tend to like some thing that has a bit of a kick to it.
The packaging is quite simple for Heinz and is a 275g glass jar with a black lid. On the front is the Heinz label with pictures of cauliflower, onion and gherkins in it.
On the ... ...diet. Also it carries the Heinz Guarantee and customer service details.
You can see the colour of the pickle as the jar is transparent. It is like a dark murky yellowy colour. Usually I find this sort of pickle to be mustard in colour but this is a bit different.
The lid is twistable and boy did it take a lot of strength to open it. When I opened this, it made my mouth water straight away as you can definatley smell the pickle and the strong smell ...
...of a sausage with the Heinz logo upon it and writing stating that it is BBQ sauce. On the back it has all the nutrition information and how many grams there are in it (570g) it also tells you the best ways to store it. Yes I would recommend this, its lovely for cooking with as well. Rather delightful if I may say so. Its possible to by this from most supermarkets for about £1.60 which isn't bad for a tube of sauce. ...on. Nothing came close to Heinz (no not even Hellmans!).
I'm sitting here, jar of mayo in front of me, wishing I had some chips to accompany it and wondering why it is so damn fine. Really I have no idea. Heinz has been around for years on end and they are, of course more well known for their baked beans and salad cream (this doesn't exist on their web site -tut tut, try finding a picture of this - I had to upload one!)

This is ... ...yellow border to contain the Heinz logo which is in blue and reads "HEINZ MAYONNAISE -finest quality ingredients est in 1869" It's nothing jazzy - but very recognisable.
~~~THE CONSISTENCY~~~
The consistency of this mayonnaise is luxuriously thick, not like some cheap brands that can be a bit sloppy. Quite stiff in fact, and when I twist the lid it does smell a little like salad cream - but less potent. A bit onion like. ~~~TASTE?~~~
