Oh my god, the scale of the problem! Advantages: Fantastically accurate. Disadvantages: Horribly accurate. These are a plain white set of electronic scales bought from ASDA for £10, which considering they have a 15 year guarantee seems to me to be pretty good value. they are pretty thin, less than an inch and a half thick, the scales wiegh around 2lb (there is no techie info with them) and can weigh up to 23 stone (not that I need that) and can weigh in stones and lb's (and ounces), lb's only or KG. All of which show on an electronic display. To switch ... ...the underside. The operation of these scales is a little different to other scales I have used, where instead of just stepping on, one has to 'tap' the scales first as vibration activates them, wait 3 seconds then step on, once the weight is displayed the display remains for 15 seconds. Villeroy & Boch DH 252G - faulty but hoping replacement will work Advantages: looks nice, very thin so takes up little space Disadvantages: electronic fault! Perhaps I was just unlucky, but I bought these scales yesterday from Robert Dyas and they don't work at all. After inserting the batteries, setting it down on the floor and tapping it with my foot to switch it on, it flashed '888' as described in the instruction booklet, then instead of displaying 0.00 ready for me to hop on board, it just flashed all the characters in the LCD display until the automatic standby kicked in. Very Efficient and accurate CAMRY Model EB9471 Advantages: Very easy working, cost economical and very efficient Disadvantages: None This electronic personal weighing machine "CAMRY Model EB9471" I am using is very accurate and efficient. I tried my weight on it different positions and different surfaces of floor, every time it show my weight exactly no difference of even 100 grams. I tried on my bathroom floor, the weight it show was ame as when I weighed it in my living room or in my bedroom. I am emphasising this because I have come across electronic weighing machine which ... ...it show different weights in the range of 700 grams of difference between low and high readings. This type of company recommend to weigh yourself three times and average three readings. But in this "CAMRY Model EB9471" weighing scale every time my weight displayed was same. Difficult to use? Advantages: Flat surface, easy to clean, 15 year guarantee Disadvantages: Results seem to vary greatly. Look good but from reading the instructions they need to be re-set every time they are moved, as they are stored against the wall they will be moved every time they are used. They are giving different results each time I use them, greatly different when used with the carpet feet, up to 10 kg??! Compared to my other 2 scales these weigh around 3 kg heavier, not sure how accurate they are? The clock is a novel idea but I really don't need a clock ... ...of which there are 4 to replace at a time... They do have a 15 year guarantee as stated on the box.
