These are a plain white set of electronic scales bought from ASDA for £10, which considering they have a 15 year guarantee seems to me to be pretty good value. they are pretty thin, less than an inch and a half thick, the scales wiegh around 2lb (there is no techie info with them) and can weigh up to 23 stone (not that I need that) and can weigh in stones and lb's (and ounces), lb's only or KG. The operation of these scales is a little different to other scales I have used, where instead of just stepping on, one has to 'tap' the scales first as vibration activates them, wait 3 seconds then step on, once the weight is displayed the display remains for 15 seconds. I got these scales and my first impression was that they are not much to look at, but at the end of the day they are bathroom scales. The first thing that I noted when using it is the speed at which the can measure your weight, it takes seconds.
