After thinking I needed one of the flash big American style fridge ~ my thoughts changed and I started to think more logically. They looked good but practicallity kicked in. Really for the money they were asking around (£1000.00) The compartments were no better than the normal conventional fridge / Freezer we all have or had in time. They were thinner possibly deeper so what was the fascination? Plumbed in for water and Ice! Dammed expensive gimmick. So I looked at this appliance LF6-137S and ideas came and stayed.
Low energy (B) 212kw/year rating for such a large appliance that comes in Silver and White Auto-matic defrost which prevents a build up of frost and water pools

Upright Fridge Space : LOADS OF : 14.0 cu ft (this sold it to me) Used to hate having to cram all the shopping in at once, especially at Christmas / parties when you cater for more than usual. Damaging things that cost an arm and a leg for in the first place and looked like the kids had just launched it around the room for the last half hour!
I store all my sauces, jams, pickles, juices, pop, fruit, oh and cans and bottles of booze in it freeing up space in my not so generous so called "designer kitchen" cabinets. With still loads of space to spare in my fridge.
Compartments :
2 Salad crispers
Wire rack at the bottom
4 moveable shelves, easy clean ~ flat and safe, with an abundance of side wall shelf edges for your choice of shelf spacing. If you could find some extra shelves that fit the fridge it would pose no problem in the layout.
Wine rack for 5 bottles
Egg tray for 8 eggs
5 door shelves that can be positioned to your requirements and that can take 2ltr fizzy plastic drinks bottles.
2 Little individual compartment lided boxes handy for putting kids chocolate bars in, safely out of reach when they try to help themselves to them.
Controls at the top of the fridge ~ well high from little fingers to move and freeze all the items you didn't want to spoil.
reversible door
A good fridge ~ no problems yet in the 8 months of owning it. Ideal for families (4 in our household)Quiet running. Good for storing pack-up items in bulk too.
