We've had our Scandinova fridge for almost 3 years, and it's great. It's capacious, rated B efficiency, the top (fridge) holds 185 litres fo space, the freezer holds 123 litres across 3.5 drawers. Came from High Street retailer Comet (own brand) and cost around £400.
The glass shelves (2) in the fridge are adjustable, as is the useful bottle rack. The veg. tray at the bottom is innovative, it swings out in a half-moon shape around a central pivot, with a big window in the back (facing forwards) so you can see your perfectly preserved veg. Two trays which take up approx. 2/3 of the veg. tray allow flexibility. The door shelves are flexible, with shallow and deeper trays to hold a variety of goods, and two containers shaped to fit the door for dairy or smelly goods. There's an egg tray, and large defrosting/storage box came too, very useful.
The fridge is easy to clean, (nothing that can't be put in the dishwasher, i've found) the freezer drawers work smoothly and you can take the front of the bottom off so you can clean underneath easily. The door is adjustable for left or right-hanging choice. There is an integral ice tray at the top of the freezer and a fast freeze option (superfreeze). A temp. gauge tells you the freezer temp, a green led gives a quick indication of the fridge temp, it turns red if the temp drops too much (if door is left open, for instance). The light automatically extinguishes if the door is left open for too long.
I like my Scandinova, and would buy another. But who buys eggs in 8's?
