HP Scanjet 2400
Review of HP ScanJet 2400 Digital Flatbed Scanner by roneoron

Advantages: Excellent value for money. Loads of applications
Disadvantages: Install not easy with newer versions of XP

...had to resort to e-mailing hp tech support. They were brilliant, and e-mailed me yet another 'patch' to sort the problem. One would have thought that as these problems were obviously well known, then the software cd needs updating. That said , the scanner is fantastic value for money and more than satisfies my needs. I especially like the 'copy' button which scans straight to the printer. Brilliant for my wife's knitting patterns! ... Read review

Photo's and Negs!
Review of HP ScanJet 3570C by Flatcat

Advantages: Cheap, Easy to use, Good Software, XP compatable, Adequate quality!
Disadvantages: Quite slow!

I bought this scanner around about 6 months ago off ebay! It was new in box but old stock as the product is now unavailable. The reason I bought this is as I wanted to scan my negatives into my PC to "digitise" them, for easy future reference. When I recieved the product i was suprised to find a well build good quality piece of kit. This is because I only payed £35 inc postage. So they are nice and cheap to pick up nowadays. The quality of the ...
...+ negs). So i was rather happy with that and it was easy to use just push the negatives in the adapter and choose the negative scan mode on the software. The speed of the scan to get a large good negative scan can take a while probably on average 1 min to 1 and a half mins per photo. The canner itself is a nice looking torquoise green top and smooth curves! Looks quite modern and looks nice on my desk. Has a USB connection and a power cable with ... Read review

Cheap, good and reliable
Review of HP ScanJet 5370C by the_man_from_del_monte

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Dust under the scanning glass

...of the scanner is the HP logo along with the model number. On the front of the scanner is a pannel that has four blue buttons on. They are used as shortcuts to scan, fax, copy and email. I never use them, but they can be quite annoying if you knock one and it loads the scanning software on screen. Ease Of Use The scanner is easy to use, just click scan and your away, although it does have a few annoying features, like scanning in black and white ...
...you decide taht you want to save it, you have to re-scan the picture all over again. Scanning an image takes about a minute. Problems I have had the scanner for a few years now and it has not broken yet although there has been a build up of dust under the scanning screen, but this hasn't appeared to affect my scans too much. The Price I got the scanner for Christmas but after a look around the internet I found you could pick one up for about ... Read review

One of the best scanners I've seen
Review of HP ScanJet 3670 by 63jimruce

Advantages: Fast scan process
Disadvantages: None

...worth worrying about looks. HP is a very good company (especially with scanners and printers), they are usually very reachable and always respond quickly. They are also very good at correcting mistakes (for example: I once bought an HP printer which had a part missing from the box, within 2 days the replacement part had arrived - didn't cost a penny!). 5 stars! ... 5300C Scanner
Review of HP ScanJet 5300C by spursand45

Advantages: Four button instant use, color scanning, .pdf files, add-on pages for e-mail, slide compatible
Disadvantages: takes up some space, older technology.

The 5300C scanner from HP has given reliable use for three years. USB connection is a plus for this older scanner. I started with Windows 98 and I am now using with Windows XP home edition. It works well with XP. HP has the drivers on it's web page to direct the user to the proper program. The color (1200 dpi resolution) is compatible with current scanners. The ability to remove the cover and place a slide adaptor is a great addition. The four-button ... Read review
