Excellent Quality A3 Flatbed Scanner
Review of Epson GT 15000 Pro by
BorisHotch
Advantages: Full A3 Flatbed Scanner, Very Fast
Disadvantages: Price, Glass can get scratched, Heavy (13Kg)
...purchased to compliment an older Epson GT12000 Scanner. The initial setup was very straightforward, being both SCSI and USB, with the USB being the preferred method mainly for the convenience of being able to switch on the scanner without having to reboot the machine (which has to be done with SCSI if it wasn't on at bootup), and also not having to take the case off the PC to install a SCSI card.
It is also possible to connect it with an optional ... ...to 400Mbps, but I can't say how much it costs or if its easy to set up, apart from the fact that you have to remove the back of the scanner to insert the card.
Another optional extra available is an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), which allows you to scan in up to 100 sheets. The only downside is that it is quite large and therefore makes what is already a large scanner even bigger. Small price to pay though if you have lots of scans to do.
The ...

High quality 48-bit scanner
Review of Mustek ScanExpress 1248 UB by
yassarikhan786
Advantages: Scans in both colour and black/white, cheap, runs on most OS's
Disadvantages: reasonably slow scanning time
The Mustek ScanExpress 1248 UB scanner is very old now and due to its age it has become very cheap. I was given this very flat-bed scanner by my uncle, the reason for that act of kindness was not due to his love but due to his computer retail shop being brutally burnt by a gang of thugs.
This scanner was built to scan A4 (216mm x 297mm) sized documents, but is quite capable of scanning larger documents separately. You will have the option of scanning ... ...there, which are selling the Mustek 1248 UB for a much lower price than £53.
Overall I think that the Mustek 1248UB is a very good scanner as I have one, and I have to say that it has been very reliable for the 3 years I have had it. This is not the future of scanning, but it sure does produce high quality scans of any document. And is very cost-effective basically 1. for it's low price and 2. the quality of scanning it provides.
I have given this ...

Review of BenQ Scan to Web 4300U by
jahanzeb
Advantages: Fast , Very High Resolution
Disadvantages: Not original I mage
Benq 4300 Scanner is good for personal use but it is not much efficient like Other photo scanner. It can scan up to 1200x1200 dpi and its speed is also Very good but I found only one problem in it and that is it doesn’t scans the Picture originally and fade or make more brightness in the color.
But it scans the image very efficiently and it can even scan a small picture
Into a big picture without damaging the pixel that’s the thing I like most ...

Canon CanoScan N650u Scanner
Review of Canon CanoScan N650U by
JoshBrown21
Advantages: Good-Looking, Compact, Good For Little Kids
Disadvantages: Not Very Good Quality
Good, compact scanner but not very good quality. If scanning in photos, pretty good but if scanning in text, the text sometimes comes out multi-coloured. I was actually given this scanner by a friend who was clearing his bedroom, and is suitable for me because all i use it for is messing around . . . . the usual things kids usually do like putting their hand on it and scanning it in, or just little bits of homework.
This scanner is very compact, ... ...A4 paper and is about 2 cm deep. I have mine tucked away in a little drawer, out of the way!
Would recommend for little kids who want to scan in their hand prints, etc ... , but not for business people who are using it for work! ;) ...
