I order this model of scanner a few months ago now and I am quite impressed with the quality of it. I ordered it from www.buy.com and it only cost £35.00 and received it a couple of days later. As you will probably know when you receive any new hardware for the pc and that goes for software too actually, you have to install it on your pc. ...it for me. So about 10 mins later he installed it onto my pc then we had to load all the software on to the pc. The whole process took about half an hour. Now it is ready to use. It is simple to use and all the instructions come up for you on the screen. You scan in the image you want and then you can alter it in size later. We use the CanoScan Lide 25 (which I'll refer to as Lide 25 from now on) at work and a handy little scanning tool it is indeed.
