Recently bought and installed this scanner as a replacement for an old parallel port scanner on an Windows 98 system. The scanner comes well packaged with a stand, USB cable, multi langauge instructions and a installation CD. The packaging was easy to remove with no hidden bits and bobs to remove. the LiDE 30 has a great design and slimming look. This is actually the first scanner that i have owned and used for my continuous school work. the 3 useful exterior buttons on the front of the scanner allow easy useage incase you have little time and need to quickly rush a scan or copy...or even a fax.
