Benq 4300 Scanner is good for personal use but it is not much efficient like Other photo scanner. I got this scanner after having to chuck out another brand due to the chemical fumes it gave off, which made me ill. So the first test it had to pass was whether it smelt. Phew - it didn't! This scanner came with a disc featuring MiraScan software. MiraScan gives you quite a good range of settings to choose from: colour, greyscale or line art; high-speed, high-quality or high-quality 48-bit; and 75-19200 dpi. We use the CanoScan Lide 25 (which I'll refer to as Lide 25 from now on) at work and a handy little scanning tool it is indeed. Unlike other home scanners I've used in the past the Lide 25 scans to a fairly high resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi so when scanning photos you get very good quality images.
