These processes are best carried out in your image manipulation program where there are usualy better guides for the changes you are making. Since I got the scanner it is gone down in price and you can probably find it for about £35. I have owned this scanner a few years now and have used it regularly and found it very good and it produces good quality images and has a high enough resolution to satisfy most people. It is quite easy to setup if you have previous knowledge of SCSI but if you have little you may struggle.
