Also, as with many scanners if you want a good result but with an equally fast time for scanning,you won't get it. You need to move up in the market for quality and speed. I have bought this scanner to use in my office, and I wish I had not. It is slow and the colours it produces are useless. I wanted it to scan and copy A3 colour maps that I had produced so I could print them out and send drafts to my clients, however this machine is now collecting dust as I have gone back to my Brother A4 scanner and have to fold the maps in half and stick together later. The resulting scans, while slightly noisier than other lower-resolution scanners I have used are wonderfully high resolution. I bought this item a few years ago and was very impressed, easy to set up and use. Just plug it in load the software and off you go. ...manily used this with the APS adapter wchich has been effortless, just load the film in teh cartridge, slide the cartridge into the machine, press the scan button and wait for the photos to appear. I have only used the film adapter once, and did not find that the film lined up with theframes on the adapter.
