...cannot use this scanner, with Epson not making a driver (they now want people to buy flatbed's instead). You can get around this by installing Windows 98 (if you have a legal copy of course) and using the PC as a dual boot system, which means you then select either Windows XP or Windows 98 on bootup. I got the Snapscan E20 a few months a go for only £70 and it has proved to be a great scanner. It is USB so couldn't be easier to install, just plug it in, pop in a CD and away you go. The software is easy to use, and includes a photo editing and printing facility, aswell as an OCR option which basically means you can take take written text from paper and put it in to MS Word or another similar program. I bought this item a few years ago and was very impressed, easy to set up and use. Just plug it in load the software and off you go. ...manily used this with the APS adapter wchich has been effortless, just load the film in teh cartridge, slide the cartridge into the machine, press the scan button and wait for the photos to appear. I have only used the film adapter once, and did not find that the film lined up with theframes on the adapter.
