flat bed scanners can be a joy or a nightmare when used. they can brilliantly pick out all the detail on your picture or ruin it with producing foldmarks when laid for processing. consider the use of white or black backing sheets when dealing with small pictures or 2 pictures in a group. when combining two letters into one make sure you have cut and pasted to be made 'invisable before printing'. the item is easily understood and instructions ... This is a high quality scanner and the scans are very good.The price is excellent for the quality.It is easy to use and has good user manual that is east to understand.The only problem is that it is wide and long and needs a good desk space to accomadate it. The copies from this scanner are very clear and really good quality. I have had several of HP's scanners and recently bought this one and I must say was pleasantly surprised it is the best yet. ...
