Advantages: Sooooo many features
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

Unlike other home scanners I've used in the past the Lide 25 scans to a fairly high resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi so when scanning photos you get very good quality images. ...pc shop as my other Mustek brokedown. upon opening was pleasently suprised by the design better than most scanners at this end of the market. but sadly did have some driver conflicts with Windows xp in the end tho got it to work perfectly on wifes pc running Windows ME. If you need a Sleek, High Quality and Affordable scanner, Look no further. It is so simple, Put the document in, press scan, DONE!!! I paid £50 for my scanner, the image quality is spectacular. ...had to resort to e-mailing hp tech support. They were brilliant, and e-mailed me yet another 'patch' to sort the problem. One would have thought that as these problems were obviously well known, then the software cd needs updating. That said , the scanner is fantastic value for money and more than satisfies my needs.
