I'm constantly prone to problems with my feet, either due to severe dry and cracked skin on my heels or due to Plantar Fasciitis. So I've tried a few products over the years to help see off as much pain and irritation as possible. At the time that I first bought Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream, I was due to set off to a festival in a few days and had been experiencing pain whilst walking due to the cracks in my heels. They just weren't going away, which is what usually happens during a summer of wearing flip flops and not paying attention to my feet. Luckily my fiancé marched me down to a local Scholl store, to seek out some professional help. Whilst in the store I had a consultation with one of the members of staff who recommended that I use this product. And I'm really glad they did.
Using The Product
This cream isn't a miracle worker; for the best results you have to keep up a regular routine of washing your feet, pummelling any dry skin and then applying the Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream twice a day. Yes, it is irritating not to have an immediate solution, but the nature of the problem is simply one that cannot be fixed overnight. Cracks in heels reopen, become painful and bleed once you start walking again, so treating the problem will take time.
It's really important to make sure you wash your feet before applying the cream, as you want to make sure that you're not going to let any nasties get in. Also, it helps in general to prepare the skin to be softened by the cream.
The cream itself doesn't completely absorb straight away, so you'll need to put about 10 minutes aside for after the application. A good excuse to put your feet up and relax!
It's odourless and white in colour, so it's not going to leave any visible residue or stains on your carpets/socks/shoes if you do need to get up and walk around.
It's a good idea to get a large, good quality foot pummel as you'll need to use one to produce the best results. You can purchase a good one from any Scholl stockist or outlet, or from most shops that stock the Scholl cream.
It's dermatalogically tested and hypoallergenic, also suitable for diabetics and sensitive skin. So it's a safe product to use.
You should bear in mind that you should never apply any creams internally, so any bleeding or infected feet should just be cleaned up and left to heel (geddit?) first and then the application can begin. I applied the cream around the bleeding or open areas which helped the skin around it to heal and repair itself. Once they began to close over I applied the cream lightly to these areas.
All in all the process took about a week or so to see great results but about 2-3 weeks to see fantastic ones!
Did It Work?
Well, yes. With patience, a good routine and an absolutely fantastic fiancé who treated my feet on many occasions, it's possible to reduce or in my case solve problems with cracked heels.
I've barely had any problems with cracked heels this summer, which I attribute partly to wearing more suitable shoes and partly to the results of the treatment I gave my feet last year.
I paid about £4 something (it was last year!) for the product, which I think is a good price to pay for something that works this well.
For me, Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream was a bit of a life saver and certainly made the end of summer more enjoyable, for not having to worry about my heels. I keep some in the bathroom now, just in case of any more problems in the future. Having tried frequently applying ordinary and strong moisturisers to my feet with no results, I know that this is the product to really sort them out.
Advantages: Works within days Disadvantages: It is a bit greasy so may stain a little
...am pleased to say that Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream did exactly what they said it would, when they said it would and you can't really say fairer than that!
I saw the adverts for this product in the Summer and it sounded good. As I had rather rough heels with quite a bit of dry skin I thought I would give it a try so when I saw it on sale in my local supermarket I popped it into my trolley and purchased it. It retails at around £5 for a 60ml ... ...spent.
According to the Scholl website "At around four times thicker than the body's average, the skin on the soles of your feet is strong enough to absorb the impact of some 3.5 million steps every year. This tough-for-task aptitude is particularly true of the heel - the first part of the foot to make contact with the ground when walking or running. This resilience, however, is also the heel's weakness. "
They go on to suggest that "Thick skin ...

Quick review of Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream
The other two reviewers are right this stuff is excellent!
I saw an improvement in the first day and by day 3 my feet looked pretty normal!
It does take a while to soak in and I have found that I left wierd white marks on my carpet when i walked across it without it being fully dry but they rubbed off.
I love it and everyone who has dry or cracked heels or even on the balls of your feet, which is the one that I get from wearing high heels too much, it works wonders!
I bought mine about 5 days ago from superdrug where it was on special offer for £2.99!!! I think they still have it on their website too. ...

It is that time of year when I start to think about going barefoot around the garden, getting out the sandals and even wearing my trusty Fitflops again. That means that my feet, which have been encased in shoes or boots all Winter will be coming into view. Time to make sure I can show a clean pair of heels as I walk around the town I think.
I do love to find a product that helps when I have a problem to deal with and one that also lives up to its claims and I am pleased to say that SchollCrackedHeelRepairCream did exactly what they said it would, when they said it would and you can't really say fairer than that!

I brought this product as my heal was in so much pain and I did not want to have to go to a chiropodist. I saw this advertised but really did not think that it would work but as I was in so much pain I thought what the hell. Well I certainly soon changed my mind especially after 3 days of trying this product. It is brilliant and I would certainly recommend this product to anyone. The only thing I would suggest is that you do a regime where by you soak feet and then use this cream afterwards it definately works and in order to prevent it from re occuring is to continue using it. It is something I would carry on using and reccomend it to anyone in pain. ...
