Advantages A truly effective moisturising cream, at a very good price

Disadvantages None that I can think of!

Lovely soft feet at last!

Because I spend most of my time at home, and in bare feet, I find that the skin can become quite hard and dry. And this isn't just on the soles of my feet and around the heel area, but the skin on the tops of my feet sometimes gets dry too. So I have been trying out various moisturisers that would have a lasting effect, and have come up trumps with Scholl Deep Moisturising Cream.

The white, pleasantly-scented cream is fairly quick to absorb. I usually put on a pair of comfy socks for a little while after applying the cream, as the extra warmth seems to help the absorption process.

The information on the back of the tube states that 'Scholl Deep Moisturising Cream is one of the most advanced footcare moisturising systems available, specially created to care for the unique characteristics of the skin on your feet. Its natural moisturising factors penetrate deeply to give an immediate 80% increase in hydration, leaving feet soft, smooth and conditioned'.

The directions state: 'Smooth onto feet and massage in until fully absorbed. For best results, use 2-3 times a week after using Scholl Rough Skin Remover, as part of your foot skincare regime.'

I certainly find that a couple of applications a week is sufficient. I was amazed by how quickly it worked. When I first got the cream, the soles of my feet were very dry and the heel area was quite rough. I thought I might need to buy a separate treatment for my heels, but I didn't - although I know that Scholl's Cracked Heel Repair Cream (Active Repair K+) is available if the skin on your heels is badly cracked.

Scholl's Deep Moisturising Cream is available at Boots and Superdrug, for £2.75 for a 75ml tube. There is an offer at Boots (as of 28th April) of 'buy 1 get 2nd half price on selected footcare'. I think £2.75 is brilliant value for such a good product.

So for anyone who wants to get their feet looking and feeling beautiful ready for sandals and flip-flops, I think this is an excellent product, and it fully deserves five stars.

A real treat for your feet!
