I bought these under recommendation of my cousin. She told me they were great to put in shoes and sandals and when I saw then at Bodycare I thought why not, I'll give these a try.
The price
They cost me £4 at Bodycare but I have seen them priced up to £7. Considering its only two bits of rubber to stick in your shoes they could be a bit cheaper but all footwear insoles are expensive so it's not too bad if they actually worked. There's only one pair per packet.
The Packaging.
It comes in a plastic package that you can do up again so you can store them in there when you're not using them. On the front It's got a picture of a high-heeled sandal on it with Party Feet in purple fancy lettering next to it. Under that, it says Invisible gelcushions. Help prevent the burning pain in the balls of your feet. Party all night and shop all day. One Pair. Ideal for all high heels and sandals. On the back At the top, there's an expiration date on it. After that date, I think the rubber will be less effective for helping the burning balls of your feet as rubber degrades. Then it says Sholl Party Feet Gel Cushions Provides invisible cushioning to help prevent the burning pain in the balls of your feet.
Directions: Peel the cushions off protective film. Insert into the front of shoe, smooth side down with the pointed end facing the heel.

The testing I bought them on the Thursday and I used them on the Saturday. So just before I went out with one of my best mates, I tried to fit them in my strappy green sandals. It's hard to find when they go so you can get the maximum benefits from the gel cushions. So then the taxi came and I was still trying to get them right. After about 10 minutes of fiddle around (at home and in the taxi), they were in properly and they fitted all right. Although it raised my foot up slightly so the straps of my high-heeled sandals dug into my feet more than usual. After 2 hours, they started to move around a lot. I think it's because I have quite sweaty feet and I dance a lot but they meant to stay firmly in place. After an hour, they were annoying me so much, I took them out but then the pain came. My feet killed me all night after that. Taking care of the gel cushions. You should wash them every time you use them. I find that they are sometimes quite hard to clean. Mine still have the little black bits on them from the first time I used them. Storing them. Make sure if you do put them back into the pack that you put something between the two gel cushions. Otherwise, they stick together and I'm afraid one day, they may rip. Talking about ripping them. Be very careful when you're on the dance floor and there's glass on the floor as a bit of glass got somehow underneath one of the gel cushions and it's now got a permanent hole in it when the piece of glass was.
The overall comment They do cushion your feet brilliantly but if you've got sweaty feet or/and you move around a lot when you go out partying like then these aren't for you. If you're going to a wedding or you're doing a lot of standing around, they are ideal. I have used them in normal shoes and my feet don't hurt half as much as they used when I come home from work. (I'm a waitress of some kind)

Don’t wear high heels that much these days, nor do I party all that much either come to think about it, I do however love to shop and these may just be ideal. Jane x
