~~The Product~~
In a small 5ml squeezable tube it's easy to use and is recommended for verrucas, warts, corns and calluses.
It contains Salicylic ... ...and acetone (if this means anything to you). The way this product works is that the Salicylic acid breaks down and removes the verruca/wart while the Camphor is a mild analgesic providing pain relief. ~~The Product~~ In a small 5ml squeezable tube it's easy to use and is recommended for verrucas, warts, corns and calluses.
It contains Salicylic Acid and Camphor as well as pryoxylin, castor oil, methoxyisopropanol and acetone (if this means anything to you). The way this product works is that the Salicylic acid breaks down and removes the verruca/wart while the Camphor is a mild analgesic providing pain relief. This means that unlike a lot of other verruca treatments it does not hurt when using it, which personally I think is great!
Due to the fact that that only two drops need to be applied on one area it lasts ages as well so while priced at £1.99 it is so worth it.
~~Directions of use~~ The pack does come with instructions (which i suggest everyone reads before using the product to ensure they know what they're doing) but it couldn't be easier.
I would recommend that you wash the area prior to applying the product so that it's clean (and make sure you dry it properly!).
Two drops is all that's required to put on the area and then you just have to allow it to dry. This is where I found a small problem in the fact that it does take about 10 minutes before it completely dries.
You are advised to continue using the product once a day until the verruca/wart comes away easily with a rough towel. I noticed a difference after the first use and my verrucas are stubborn.
There are a few precautions to remember and again I highly recommend you read the instructions before using the product. Don't use it on the face, bottom or genitals or anywhere that the skin is inflammed or broken and if you are repeating the application make sure you wash away the previous application with warm soapy water. If it comes into contact with your "normal" skin then wash it off immediately or it can redden and become slightly itchy.
~~Specific Criteria~~ Again, with another review unfortunately the specific criteria is not really relevant to the product. Once the verruca disappears then your skin is left smooth and soft which is good but it can be tender at first while your foot is getting used to not having the nasty thing there.
It does not have a smell at all and absorbs at a reasonable time but make sure you have a spare 10 mins to sit and let it dry.
A good value for money that I would definately recommend.
