    Schwarzkopf Infra Red 42

I recently dyed my hair with the new range of Live colours from Schwarzkopft, i used the Infra Red 42, i had never dyed my hair before so i wasn't quite sure how the dye was supposed to come out, i followed the instructions given on the leaflet and the entire process was pretty easy.(Note: my hair is a very light ash brown/dirty blonde colour)

The Colour:
Applying the colour was very easy, the colour was quite runny and it was extremely messy (i reccomend you cover your bathroom with old towels),
Once the dye was mixed it had a very chemicaly smell and went onto the hair very easily.

Once i had applied the colour to my hair left it on for 40 minutes (A litle longer than it said on the box) then washed my hair until the water ran clear (which took a very long time) then i applied the conditioner, i applied the entire tube, even though my hair is very thin.

Well, lets just say i wasn't overly thrilled with the results,it came off as an orangey red colour, also the colour didn't take very well at all to the back of my hair. AND the back of my hair looked like i only had highlights.
So i wasn't overly pleased with my hair at all.
After i had left my hair for about an hour the colour had seemed to come through on the back, but not very well.

Well, after about a week my hair had very quickly faded to a dark auburn colour (I had only washed my hair TWICE WITH Colour protect shampoo) as you can imagine i was very unhappy with this product and after about two weeks my hair had faded into a very deep ginger, which is now very difficult to get out

I would not reccomened this product to anybody, as it is a waste of money and very dissapointing

HOWEVER after this i tried the Red passion 43 colour and it was brilliant it was also very easy to apply and this red was very vibrant and lasted a while before it began to fade (Also this product did not fade into a ginger colour)

All in all i was very dissapointed with this product and will not be buying it again,
