Enter the Dragon
Advantages: Epic character based fantasy Disadvantages: plot slightly weak
...you should know about the Dragonlance series is that there are many many books in it. There are however only a handful that are classed as 'First Tier'. What that means is that only these are the books that have been written by the original authors (Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman) and they tell the main story. All the other Dragonlance books tell other stories that are in some way related to the main story theme (ie. books about each of the characters ... ...world of evil. What makes Dragonlance slightly different is the fantastic character development. This is without a doubt the strong point of the book and the whole series. The story is brilliant, but nothing too original.
The story revolves around a group of friends who get together at the start. You have the twins Raistlin and Caramon who are as different from each other as night and day. Raistlin is a moody young mage in hopes of becoming the ...

Have a look Inside my world!
Advantages: informative, interesting, attractive Disadvantages: pricey RRP
...the BBC phenomenon that is Doctor Who. The sci-fi family show may have been on our screens on and off since 1963, but it only came into my life back in 2005 with the new series. Straight away I fell for the glorious Time Lord that is the Doctor (in the form of David Tennant), and longed to be companion Rose (played by the lovely Billie Piper). In my quest to try and involve myself with the show as much as possible, I went on a hunt for merchandise. ... ...eyes to the world of Doctor Who in a completely different light. One of these is 'The Inside Story'. Published in October 2006, it is one of the first fact books from the new series, and I feel this does make it that little bit more exciting. The hardback book can be recognised by its very attractive cover. It has a sleeve on the top, with the same design on the hardback underneath. It has a main colour of orange, to match the Doctor Who logo which ...

oh dear oh dear.....
Advantages: none Disadvantages: absolute porngraphic drivel
...whole book! In Danse Macabre, Anita hardly seems to get out of bed, never mind kill off any vampires! She used to be slaying everything in sight, now she's sleeping with them all instead, usually 2 at a time. The sexual tension used to keep the reader riveted but now there is barely any story, just Anita's personal issues throughout. The most simple situations in the 'story' continue for pages and pages, before anything happens, i.e. near the beginning ... ...her entourage of blokes (all perfect specimens with amazing bodies) and has an altercation with a bodyguard at the door which continues for about 5 pages before she has even got inside the building. This seems so ridiculous and is frustrating too. Then there are a few chapters with the story, then it goes back to sex scene after sex scene, with the most unbelievable, ludicrous numbers of orgasms and screaming. The storyline of the 'ardeur' is becoming ...

It is not just about football!
Advantages: It's very funny, and oh so true! Disadvantages: None
The Disc, for those who don't know, continues to float in space, supported by the elephants who ride the back of the great swimming turtle A'tuin. The Hub about which the planet spins is a centre of great magic, and best avoided if you want to live a happy and contented life. At the outer perimeter is the great circle sea which unendingly streams over the rim into the void, which is best avoided if you want to continue to live at all. Most Discians ... ...Smeems, for instance, is the Candle Nave at the Unseen University. He has to worry about keeping the candles not just alight, but properly melted, artistically, gothicly, dribbled, as it were. Of course, there's Trevor to help. And there's Nutt. With two t's. Trevor Likely has a tendency to skive off work whenever possible, and to kick a tin can around. His dad was a legend. Nutt is… well, no-one's quite sure what Nutt is, even him. Goblin isn't ...
