A new tale in the Recluce saga. Advantages: The latest offering in the Recluse saga, very interesting Disadvantages: A fantasy that will not please everybody This is the latest offering in the long running saga of Recluse. So far I have not seen any loss of energy or entertainment in these works. Briefly the synopsis: Kharl, once a humble cooper is now proved to be an Order Master Mage and has been made a Lord with his own lands by young Lord Ghrant, the ruler of Austra. Kharl is summoned back to Valmurl, to assist Lord Hagen the lord chancellor . As an order mage Kharl can tell when somebody is not ... ...the lying actions of a powerful factor and shortly after, rebellion breaks out again. Kharl must use all of his powers against powerful Hamoriam White Wizards and others lords and Arms men. Blood is spilt and powerful magic's are performed before order is once again achieved. Promoted, rewarded once again Kharl returns to his new lands to try to live at peace, but is still troubled by Hamorian intentions. He worries over what is left of his family ... Off Armageddon reef. Advantages: great read Disadvantages: nothing Off Armageddon reef. = A superb sci-fi novel and a gripping read. Humanity has been made almost completely extinct by the ferocious alien race called the Gbaba. They hate humans with a fierce fervour. Hunting them down if one should be found anywhere in the universe. But some humans have escaped. During a battle a few brave souls sacrificed their live to cover up the small escaping ship which fled the massacre just in time. These ... ...unaware of their past. Before landing their robot P.I.C.A. (a kind of body guard) hypnotised them all to forget about gbaba and has instilled in them the hatred of technology. The reason for this is that if the gbaba pick up any traces of technology on a planet they swoop in and destroy everything. Don't just get even, Get mad and even! Advantages: A very entertaining read. Disadvantages: Won't appeal to everybody ...But all is not well on this station. Here the enemy may wear the same uniform as well as foreign enemies. Just which will prove to be the worst I will leave you to read and find out. It is not my intention to spoil the plot but some persons may not be familiar with the problems. I am cynical enough to know that when something goes wrong it is never the fault of the person who thought up the idea if they are of a sufficient rank.
