Sliders was a great concept where a student scientist creates a sliding device where he can teleport to various parallel universes where its the same year but where certain events being different the outcomes in that world reflect that. I enjoy seeing where the gang end up next, and getting John Rhys-Davies to play as proffesor Arturo was just ingenius. You can't help but think your watching Lord of the Rings by mistake. The episodes get better ...

Sliders isn't great with modern days special effects, but in its day it was right up there with effects and i still think its a great watch and will always be remembered as a classic. There are 6 discs which contain a total of 22 episdoes. Advantages: Excellent storylines and dialogue. Progressive development.
Disadvantages: CGI can be somewhat lacking but still better than early Star Trek.
