My first experience of Scott Mills was when I was working part-time at Homebase a couple of years ago. The in-store radio station, Homebase FM (natch) would be punctuated with things suchs as "Hi! I'm Scott Mills, this week at Homebase we have a nice ladder," or whatever. Then I heard he was filling in for then-Radio One brekkie presenter Zoe Ball, and thought how awful it would be. But when I tuned in, I was happy to find Scott to be a damn good DJ. What's best about him is his quick-witted humour, and the way he gets away with near-the-knuckle humour.
Inexplicably though, the BBC continue to schedule the guy in the middle of the bloomin' night in the "early breakfast" show. Anyone eating brekkers at that time of the morning seriously needs their head looked with a hatchet, as do the Radio One suits if they don't give Scott Mills a decent time slot!
Advantages: Good reception, you can turn it off Disadvantages: Missing something
The Scott Mills show live between 16.00 hrs and 19.00 hrs Monday to Thursday BBC RADIO 1. It is preceded by Colin and Edith and is followed by Zane Lowe. On Friday the show is somewhat shorter finishing with NEWSBEAT at 17.45 hrs and followed by the Essential selection. Today’s Friday programme had a short NEWSBEAT break at 16.30 hrs they mentioned some problems Microsoft had been having and some items on sport. Most of the rest of the time was taken ... ...played on the BBC radio website after the show. I found the overall sound sometimes a little too frenetic almost hectic, possibly I’m am showing my age. The good news Scott obviously does not consider himself more important than the music so we don’t hear too much of his voice. ...

Advantages: Only Mogadon rivals this for usefulness..... Disadvantages: Do not listen if you want to be entertained.
...the quality
of personality DJs. Scott Mills tries but seemingly has no charisma and seems to annoy with his cloyingness. I’ve stopped lsitening to the early morning show on Radio One since Chris Moyles went to
the afternoons.. The type of music this guy plays is chart filler stuff. and he sounds like any male local radio DJ. Just hear how he handles the Breakfast Show....it was awful, stuff that only people in their mid-twenties seem to like. And ...

...of the horror that is Scott Mills.
I really enjoy Radio One as a whole but am completly bemused by the fact that Scott Mills still has a job with Radio One. His show sucks, he plays exactly the same this every day, his mystery calls where he takes voice clips and calls a member of the public are appaling and the only reason I can think of to explain why there are two of these calls during each show is that at least it stops Scott from speaking, ...

This ad is fantastic and orginal.
ScottMills, from radio1, ran a piece on his show slating the ad, saying it was terrible, why I dont know.
Before ScottMills slated the ad I actually telephoned all of my sisters to say what a brilliant ad it was and how it was refreshing and cool. I think they thought I was crazy for commenting on the ad.
I have heard some negative stories about the guy who starred in the ad but he has nothing to be ashamed of, the ad is great!!!
I dont eat frosties, dont like them, but I love the ad.
This is how an advert should be made, crossing boundries and taking a risk, this risk paid off.
Well done Kellogs, more of the same please...
thanks ...
Advantages: Great dj's and no adverts Disadvantages: None
Radio1 the best radio station around
I started listening to radio1 around 3 years ago and I absolutely love it. Even if I don't manage to listen to it while its on live. I tend to have a listen online and by downloading there pod casts.
You have such a range of brilliant dj's my favourite being ScottMills and Chris Moyles.
Radio1 plays such a mixture of music the old and the new stuff. I haven't been listening as much in the last few months due to me having a baby and I tend to be quite busy, but I do really miss it. I found that I got really engrossed in the djs themselves and enjoyed the different they each do.
ScottMillsScottmills makes me laugh so much I loved his Laura's diary and 1 night with Laura thing he did. It was hilarious.
He would everyday get Laura's sister to read out a section ...

Advantages: You wake up with Moyles Disadvantages: You get home with Mills
I first started listening to Radio1 about 3 or 4 years ago and since then i have never switched back to local radio.
Apart from the great music old and new, you also have great DJ's. I listen to Radio One in the morning around 7.45 on my way to work till about 9 and then on my way home from 5pm to 6pm. So generally i listen more to Chris Moyles breakfast show and ScottMills in the afternoon.
