...I first invested £3000 in scottishEquitable Unit trust in november 99.
I have just cashed in my profit from them & it had doubled.
They are so easy to work with you just phone them on a free phone number & they send every thing you need to sign next day. Even after the Technology correction earlyer this year I had still doubled my money. You can also swap your money between there different fund without charges which is great if you get the gitters like with the market wobbling now and then I just swapped mine into cash fund & when the market settled down I put it back into tech fund.

...Be very wary of this bunch they are very sharp. If you make an enquiry on one of the switch comparison sites and leave any details they will contact you a few weeks later if you don't progress your enquiry.
The information on U-switch pointed to the fact that I was already getting the most cost effective deal from of all suppliers British Gas! So I decided to stay with them. About a fortnight later I received a call from a very pleasant lady from Scottish Power enquiring as to why I had not progressed my interest further.
I explained that the info on U-switch indicated that I would be better off staying with BG.
After a few more questions the SP representative claimed that she would be able to better the terms offered by BG and asked if I would like a quote. I agreed and told her that I was currently paying BG around £82 per...

Many investors now invest through ISAs. It is worth pointing out, therefore, that NUTM offer both Mini and Maxi stocks and shares ISAs. However, unlike some other companies, they do not offer a cash component within the Maxi ISA. This may influence your choice. [It is actually surprising that they don't offer this, given that the overall Nationwide organisation does offer a Mini cash ISA: one might have thought that there was a way of overlapping here, even if the subsidiaries are quite distinct!]
