The bond invests in Scottish Friendly’s with-profits fund. The bond is described in the Key Features document as a ‘tax exempt with profits endowment plan’ with investment ‘in a wide variety of investments including equities’.
Since there is no actual breakdown of what these were nor any indication in percentage terms of the makeup of the with-profits fund and to what extent each part exposed the consumer to risk, no client would have ..."
