There was also a dubiously worded cashback incentive which gave the impression that I could get £15 in cash for changing to their telecoms. I duly phoned them and received an application form, which I returned the next ... ...had seen an advertisement from Scottish Gas for a similar offer, and immediately phoned the helpful people at Scottish Gas who promised to send me a telecom box within 14 days, they also offered 1/3 off local calls and 50% off national calls. In addition as I am already a customer I will get a discount of £1 a month from my call bill.
If it works out I will post an amendment to this in about 2 to 3 weeks.
Once again I am experiencing problems in obtaining a plug- in telecom box for cheaper telephone boxes (see my review on Callnet0800). I duly phoned them and received an application form, which I returned the next day, complete with direct debit instructions. That was in January.
Today March,06, I phoned them to see why it was taking so long for the box to arrive, and I was told that they had abandoned telecoms, which means that once again I was thwarted from receiving cheap telephone calls. This from a very(?) reputable company is objectionable treatment.

...have recently connected to the scottish power telecommuncation. I was first impressed that I was being able to contact the company via public phone. They also have freephone customer service number....If you are a new customer ! In addition,I think that the call charges is also reasonable if we compare it to other provider.
