During my final year of uni, this little gem turned out to be a Godsend. Doing a course which required a lot of camera work, I needed somewhere to store all the raw footage, which anyone who's ever worked with footage from a high quality video camera knows, takes up a hell of a lot of space. So I needed somewhere to keep it locked away safely to take around from uni computer to uni computer. My weapon of choice for an external hard drive was the Lacie Desktop Hard Disk 320 GB. Having brought it online for just under £50, that instantly stuck me as a bargain. Purchased approximately 18 months ago, that was a steal. Review of LaCie Desktop Hard Disk 320 GB

Great capacity hard disk for the price, stylish and simple too.

Advantages: Great Value, very reliable
Disadvantages: Short cables, and shows up fingerprints

be a good idea to have a cleaning cloth with this device, as the shiny black surface has an awful habit of showing off your fingerprints, there isn't a cloth included unfortunately. So, what is included? well, the LaCie supports lots of different transfer methods, I used the firewire, but it also comes with cables for USB and a few others, I think this choice is great. Unfortunately the cables are very short, which would be fine if you want the hard disk to sit right next to your desktop PC. But I'm using a laptop, and the nearest desk, which was only a short distance away, was too far for the cable to reach. I had to resort to picking up a slightly longer cable for about £2 from play.com Not the best of starts, but, the device itself more than makes up for it. Its smaller than the pictures make it look, not as wide as a DVD case ...

Sensa Clip Sandisk 2GB

Advantages: High Quality Sound
Disadvantages: 2GB Memory

The Sensa Clip Sandisk 2GB is a fantastic mp3 player with many features. There are not lots of memory but it's enough to hold about 500 songs, which is plenty. It's very easy to use and if you have lots of songs you will be able to browse by artist or by album. It's very small and light and has a nice design to it. Has very high sound quality and goes quite loud without distorting. Features FM radio and recording features. This mp3 player is also very cheap and well worth buying. Due to its size its very easy to use out and about when needed. Overall this product is excellent and I recommend it to any potential buyers.
