Advantages: great game, very fun to play and lasts a while Disadvantages: none!
MiniNinjas is a game of a traditional ninja story. A great ninja master senses trouble and sends his best students out, but none of them return. So he sends his final student out - Hiro (who is the main character that you play).
The whole point of the game is to defeat the evil ninja lord who has ben using dark magic to turn innocent animals into samurai warriors (when you defeat these warriors they turn back into little animals !)
You begin as Hiro, the youngest of the minininjas whos strength is magic. Throughout the game you collect about 12 magic spells which only hiro can use. These range from fire balls to ice storms to strong winds etc. ALong the story you find your friends who you can control instead of Hiro. The second character you find is Futo - the largest of the minininjas. He is extremely strong and can use his hammer ...
Advantages: Cute game but fun for all ages. Disadvantages: Not very challenging, and not one you'll want to play twice.
I didn't really know what to expect from MiniNinjas and I must admit this was added to my Boomerang Games rental list purely because I thought it sounded cute. It's rare a game involving fighting can also be described as cute, but this is exactly what this offering from Eidos Interactive gives us.
What's it all about?
You play as Hiro the ninja, who starts off in his village (oh yes we've heard this one before...) and goes off to training. His training teacher tells him he's a natural with 'Kuji magic' and sends him out into the evil samurai filled world to ultimately kill the dreaded Evil Samurai Warlord, who we meet in various cut scenes. Along the way Hiro encounters some bosses with rather amusing names... such as the boss who fires fart clouds at you and is aptly named Boss Windy Pants or how about killing Boss Timid ...
