This is another excellent fishing magazine for the keen angler. I buy it regularly. It is a weekly publication covering the whole spectrum of fishing from coarse fishing to sea fishing and everything in between.
Not stuffed too full of adverts and only £1 to buy it is extremely good value for money.
I particularly enjoy reading the News pages to find out just what is happening in the fishing world, what is being caught, where and how. The tackle section is particularly useful and there are some good reports and writeups on the latest tackle and baits available. Tips on where to fish throughout the country also appear regularly making your choice of venue easier to decide.
At the back of the magazine you will find the Swap Shop where anglers can advertise for sale any tackle they want to sell or advertise for tackle they want to ...

Advantages: Great locations and scenery, interesting to see how others fish Disadvantages: Robson Green and his foul mouth and constant whinging
on a Monday night for an hour.
My opinion
What I like about this programme is the different types of fishing it covers. From shark fishing in South Africa to Sturgeon fishing in Canada to Tuna fishing in the Caribbean to Tarpon fishing off the coast of North America this series covers it all. The global aspect is fantastic and I find the international fish species very interesting and I am always amazed at how big they grow, how dangerous they are and how different they are compared to fish found in the UK waterways and seas. The fish that we have access to appear very boring, as well as ...
Advantages: News content on a very specialised subject Disadvantages: A paper is more difficult to read than a magazine
This paper is unlike any other. Not only is the content quite different from that of a normal newspaper, it tells only truth too!!!

It is also totally crammed with news, reviews, results and competitions. It has so much more than a normal fishing mag would offer. Its features, explaining different methods that are worth trying , to the angler, are a less prominent part of the paper (when compared to the magazines), but it makes up for this with additional content which cannot be found anywhere else (other maybe than 'Anglers ...
