...experiences of "Natures Aid Norwegian Sea Kelp."
Frustrated of thin hair that dwindled down to my shoulders and broke whenever I brushed it and flaky nails, I sought a natural product which would help me to grow healthy long locks. I was recommended sea kelp due to the fact it is rich in minerals and elements such as iodine which, amongst other things, promotes healthy hair growth.
Sea kelp also helps to regulate the production of thyroid hormones ... ...I started to take Norwegian Sea Kelp) is that I need to book myself in for an eyebrow wax much more frequently these days. The regrowth rate is fantastic - meaning more waxes, meaning more expense! :o(
I now take 1 tablet a day and find that my skin can cope with this better - I have no more annoying breakouts! This is also financially better for me as my tablets last far longer! I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone who suffers ...

Advantages: Natural, inexpensive, variety of benefits Disadvantages: Not amazing results or suitable for quick fix
...website had advised me that sea kelp is supposed to stimulate hair and nail growth and improve their general condition. They were on offer (£2.99 for 500 tablets down from £5.99, available in smaller numbers by the way) and me being a terrible nail biter too, I reasoned I wouldn't be too upset at the loss of three quid if they did nothing, unlike the twenty-five I could lose on the internet.
The packaging was perfectly functional and easy to use, ... ...unpleasant, kind of like rotten sea weed, and are about a 1cm in diameter (smartie size). The taste is not very nice, so make sure you swallow them first time!On the tub, it recommends taking 1 to 3 daily with food and advises that it is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women without consultation from a doctor. They are not advised for under-18s use but I tried them anyway. Aswell as making hair and nails grow faster and in better condition, ...

Advantages: Boosts energy, good value for money, natural Disadvantages: Horrible taste if you let it dissolve in your mouth.
I first heard about Sea Kelp after enquiring what the many supplements my friend was taking daily were. I had heard of all of them before, except kelp and wanted to know more about it. Basically, it is sea weed and it's supposed to be very good for you. It gives you more energy which boosts your metabolism and aids cell growth, so you nails and hair should grow faster among other things. It is also a natural source of iodine, although this is not ... ...health stores stores I've visited and also a few chemists too. I was surprised to find that Boots didn't stock it, but did find it in other high street chemists. Holland and Barrett sell it at £2.49 for 250 tablets and this price is comparable in other stores, although does vary depending on quality and quantity etc... You are recommended to take one pill daily, so at just under 1p per pill it's pretty good value. Holland and Barrett do recommend ...

Advantages: cheap to buy, works very well, increased energy Disadvantages: only the taste if you dont swallow it quick enough
...I have now been taking Sea Kelp for four months, and the difference is amazing. my hair is growing really well, is in very good condition, (I work in a school kitchen, and having to keep it tied up under a hat in the heat does not normally do it any favours), My nails are growing better than they have ever done, and are so strong now.
With the price of all the special shampoos and conditioners on the market, which only coat your hair in junk, to ... ...you can get 1000 tablets for about £8. It takes about 8 weeks to really kick in, so is not a quick fix, but the other advantages are increased energy, higher metabolism, which can help with weight loss.
The downside is that it MUST NOT be taken by pregnant or lactating women or those who suffer thyroid problems. There are warnings on the ones I buy from Holland & Barratt. ...

Advantages: Metabolism a go, go! Disadvantages: Don't use if you already have a hyperactive thyroid!
...gave me a tub of sea kelp tablets (Holland and Barrett) after she mistakenly bought them to help her put on weight (which they don't do!). So I had a tub of the stuff and although wasn't looking for them, they had arrived in to my life. 'What the heck, i'll take 'em', I thought.
Well, I can tell you that I noticed the difference almost instantly. For quite a few years now, i've actually been having a lot of dietry problems and suffer from constipation ... ...the mighty Kelp, I found that my 'toilet trips' became regular as clock work (very rare for me, i'm a once in four days kinda person) and I have very noticeably felt my metabolism working full speed. I already feel 10 times lighter (probably because i'm depositing about 3 times a day now!), so i'm sure my weight will continue to drop. I'm also aware that i've got a lot more energy in the mornings and throughout the day. Don't know whether i'm going ...
