Seagate have always made great hard drives and this is no excepetion it reads and writes fast. This drive is one in a new range of seagate drives that use perpendicular recording technology, meaning more space per platter.
There is only one bad point to this drive and that is the noise you can here it read this may not be a problem for some but compared to the samsung hard drive I also have in my pc, the seagate makes the most noise (you cant hear ... ...storage you get, being a seagate you get a nice long 5 year guarantee.
