So you have SATA and need a drive? This drive maybe for you, especially if you are looking at RAID in the future. These drives are now below £40 so three or four in RAID will give you the speed of a WD Raptor for less than the price of one!! The SATA gives you 150MB/S whereas normal Parallel ATA is way below that, also you will be able to feel the difference as the computer runs a lot faster as you have reduced one of the serious sub-system bottlenecks. It is fairly quiet and runs at 7200RPM spindle speed. However if you are looking for space and not speed I would suggest a 200GB or 300GB.
Not great for space, but possibly the best bang-for-buck if you are looking at RAID or speed.
