My laptop is fairly old but has served me very well (it's a Toshiba incidentaly) , it has about 27GB of storage space which nowdays isn't enough for all my work as well as movies and music.
I decided to look at some external hard drives so I could store everything that I wanted and more. This particular model appealed to me, not just because it was the cheapest, but because it had very good specs (1TB of storage to say the least) and was a Toshiba. A very good brand that I trust.

I have previously purchased a Freecom 500 GB externaldrivedrive and have been very happy with it's performance and reliability. So when the drive started to become 80% full it was time to look for some additional storage.
