    One of the best Hard Drive makers in the business. I have never had any problems with this make of Hard Drive since I have been using them. Have fitted this make of Hard Drive in nearly every machine I have built for my self and for my customers for around the last six years and don’t think I have had one returned to me that is not working.     The Seagate external hard drive is great for a person who is hungry for gigabytes of storage space. A person who stores their easily lost CDs, DVDs, and copies of there beloved games on a not so easily lost hard drive will appreciate the large 160 GB storage space. It is easy to hook up requiring only that you plug in the power and USB connection. It is also very quiet and never goes above a slightly warm temperature. Its connection speed is fast especially with smaller amounts of data, however it can get bogged down if you are transfering a large amounts of data (think 10s of GBs.) After ... more

    Advantages Advantages Easy to install. Transfer data quickly and easily.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Quite bulky and heavy.

    Initial setup was very easy. No driver disks needed. Just plug the hard drive into the mains and then into a USB port and away you go. Within less than 30 seconds your new disk drive icon appears in my computer. Transfer is quick and easy by normal Windows copy/paste and drag/drop features. Transfer rate is normal USB 2.0 speed (480mbps) as long as you have a USB 2.0 port on your computer. Sufficient space to backup around 17,000 music mp3s. Could easily be used to store an image of a drive (as long as not a lot of large files stored on it) Readily available at all good stockists. Quite bulky ... more
